Recruiting senior sales professionals for a leading Maritime organization

THE CHALLENGE: 

A market leader in marine solutions, equipment and services engaged us to recruit two commercial professionals to drive technology sales under the same business unit in Singapore. This advanced technology was recently created by the organization and would be introduced to the market by the new hires.


OUR APPROACH:

The lack of competition for these type of solutions in Singapore made it challenging to find potential candidates that possess a comprehensive understanding of the product and the right network of clients. After advising our client on the search project, we extended the search across APAC in order to reach a larger and more relevant talent pool.


OUTCOME:  

Despite the niche nature of these type of profiles, we were able to present a shortlist of interesting candidates who understood the product and its benefits for naval defence authorities and other maritime institutions. The search and selection process was successfully completed within a month. Having a close relationship with the client, an in-depth understanding of the job requirements and awareness of the market situation were key to achieving success in this project.
