Recruiting multiple VP/SVP hires for the COO of a South East Asian Tech Giant

THE CHALLENGE: 

We were tasked by the COO of this multi-billion-dollar ride hailing business to run a confidential search to help the business identify a number of senior ex-consultants to build out their Operations team. From the COO’s standpoint, the business needed strengthening across a number of areas in ops. These roles were vital for the company’s future success. As there were so many roles to fill, we knew this would be an exciting but extensive search.


OUR APPROACH: 

We flew to Indonesia to meet with the COO to really to get to know their business, why these senior hires were needed and what impact these roles would have on the company. After coming away with a detailed overview of what they needed, we quickly started discussing these opportunities with our network of candidates in Indonesia.


OUTCOME: 

While we were not able to fill all the roles, we did successfully place a number of candidates into the business. Hiring these ex-consultants significantly helped the COO in terms of setting up a world class operations team able to support the business’ continued growth, which was a key objective for the company.
