Recruitment of two Country Managers in Singapore and Indonesia for a rapidly expanding EdTech Company
THE CHALLENGE:
After securing their Series A round of funding, this Education Technology company, which is head quartered in Singapore, was looking to strengthen its presence in South East Asia with two experienced Country Managers. These were key hires for the company as the Country Managers would to be ex-consultants with start-up experience, who would have full P&L responsibility with scope to grow the business in their respective locations.
OUR APPROACH:
After taking detailed JD’s and discussing at length what they were looking for, we tapped into our extensive consulting networks across the region to source the right profiles. The search was however made more difficult as Covid-19 had just taken hold globally. Despite this setback, thanks to our contacts, we were able to very quickly present the client with a number of suitable candidates and they quickly got to arranging VCs with all of them.
OUTCOME:
Through our regional market and candidate knowledge they identified two experienced start-up entrepreneurs and quickly got offers to them. All of their overseas markets are now experiencing fantastic growth and they are already exploring new locations in the region.
